Keeping Kids Away From Car Parts and Away From Auto Parts When Driving
Posted by este in Automotive Parts on July 3, 2011
As a mother, you are probably concerned about your family’s safety. In fact, you are probably most concerned about your children’s safety when they get in the car to take them to school every day. You want to make sure they buckle up safely and sit down the whole car ride with their seat belt on. It would be quite bothersome as a mother if your children were touching some of the car parts or auto parts like the automatic window buttons or automatic child lock on your car. It would be quite ironic if your child knew how to work the child safety lock device on your car.
Some mothers find it helpful to have a carpool, while others just want to drive their own children to school, and yet others don’t mind sending their children off on the school bus every morning. Personally, I would want to drive my own kids to school to make sure they got there safely. And it is a nice gesture to offer to take some other people’s kids once in a while if you don’t mind. Driving with your kids in the car could be either fun or really annoying. Sometimes they will just sleep, and that is pleasant, or sometimes they will be crying and complaining, which is annoying for a mother who just wants to relax at the wheel.
One thing you can do to keep your kids distracted on the road is playing some music they like or having snacks available to keep them happy. If they are driving with a friend or pet in the car, this could keep them happy as well and help you to focus on driving and getting everyone home in one piece. Read the rest of this entry »
Off Road Trip With Design Your 4×4 Auto Parts
Posted by este in Automotive Parts on July 3, 2011
Going off-road with your 4×4? Make sure that it is ready and capable of off-road travel. Remember, unexpected things happen on the road. So, before you hit the road, make sure that your 4×4 vehicle is in good shape. After all, you don’t want to get stranded helpless on the road, right? Then, better take note of these helpful off-road traveling tips.
First off, do a visual inspection of your car inside and out. Make sure that all the 4×4 auto parts are up for the tough drive. Which parts are these? These are the brakes, battery, axles, cooling system, driveline, engine, exhaust, suspension, lights, and of course, the car’s body or frame. Check that no unusual noise comes from these parts whenever you drive your car.
Second, don’t forget to put the tools you’ll need on the road in your toolbox. If ever something breaks while on the road, you’ll easily repair, replace, or reassemble them. But don’t overdo it. Just bring the necessary tools. Remember your goal is to enjoy a challenging off-road drive, not to drive a heavy and bulky vehicle.
Third, with the tools already sitting comfortably in the trunk, it’s time to prepare your personal things. Aside from bringing extra clothes and your vanity kit with you, don’t forget to pack candles, ropes, cigarette lighter, cell phone, compass, first aid kit, flares, food, and flashlight with you. You don’t want to get stranded on the road with nothing in your bag to keep you nourished and safe, right? It’s better safe (and full) than sorry. Read the rest of this entry »
